All of my cards are numbered so I can keep track of how many cards I've made along with the month and year I made them.
The layout designs that I use on my cards are provided from the design team at Freshly Made Sketches and Mojo Monday card challenges. The color schemes on some of my cards are compliments of the Color Throwdown card challenge. I owe my thanks to them for the use of these challenges.

Flamingo love...

#634-2020-02.
Here is another card for this week's freshly made sketches challenge.
I was at our local Joann's craft store today and they had a bunch of their stamp and cuts on clearance and their embossing folders were 40% off.
So, I bought this tropical border embossing folder.
The flamingo and the leaves are from the Fiskars Tropical Getaway clear stamp set. The sentiment is from the same stamp set.
The flamingo is stamped onto white paper and colored in with copic markers. Then I cut it out and used double-sided adhesives to adhere them to my card base. I used a green ink from StudioG for the leaves. After stamping it on white paper, I cut it out as well and used adhesives to adhere it.
Supplies used are :
Pastel pink cardstock,
White cardstock,
Tropical Getaway clear stamp set,
Tropical border embossing folder,
Rainbow ribbon,
Black ink.

#633-2020-02.
I made this sweet but simple card for this week's freshly made sketches challenge.
Supplies used are :
White cardstock,
StudioG inks,
Pink gems,
Handwritten sentiments clear stamps,
Fabulous Florets rubber cling stamps.
I stamped the leaf directly onto the card base and then stamped and cut out the flower, which is adhered onto the leaf with a double-sided adhesive circle.
The sentiment is from Hampton Arts handwritten sentiments clear stamps.
Then I added a few gems to complete my card.

This is a 5.25 x 5.25 inch card.
Supplies used are :
Spring Pansy VersaMagic chalk ink,
Pink Grapefruit VersaMagic chalk ink,
Flowers clear stamp,
Essential Sayings clear stamps,
Lavender craft ribbon,
Butterflies,
Pearls,

I made my own scalloped square stencil and layed it over my card base. Then I sponged on the 2 colors of chalk inks and then stamped on the flower's.
Then I glued the corners of the scalloped border together before using adhesive tape to adhere it to the card base.
Then I added the craft ribbon, sentiment, and butterflies to complete my card.

Just a note...

#631-2020-02.
I was on Facebook and I saw a card that was made by Tami White and she gave a brief description of how to make a perfect circle on a card. So I gave it a try and here is the result.
First, I made my own circle stencil by taking a circle die and cutting out a circle using a piece of poster board. Then I layed it on top of the piece of cardstock that I used for my picture.
Then I stamped the lighthouse and cut it out and then I briefly taped it down so I could sponge on the sunset colors.
After doing this, I removed the temporary lighthouse that I used for a guide for the sunset and then I stamped the lighthouse on in place of the temporary one.
Then I used a yellow copic marker to color the door and the top of the lighthouse. I used a red colored pencil on the lighthouse.
The sentiment is from the stamp set pictured above. It's from M.S. Sparkle and Co. I stamped it and hand cut it out and the used double-sided adhesives to adhere it to the card. The birds are from a stencil that I have. The stamp set that has the lighthouse is called "Coastal".
I hope you have enjoyed seeing my card. I made it for this weeks Freshly Made Sketches challenge.

Sending happy thoughts

#630-2020-02.
I sponged on the blue background after I stamped on the bird on a branch.
Then I used copic markers to color the branches and I used a black colored pencil to highlight the bird.
The sentiment is from a little clear stamp set that came with a banner die from M.S. Sparkle and Co.
Then I added the pearls and highlighted the edges of the banners.
The layout design for this card is from this week's freshly made sketches challenge.
I hope you've enjoyed my card for this week's challenge.

The Lighthouse

#628-2020-02.
I used oil pastels and colored pencils for my scenery.
The sky didn't turn out the way I wanted it to, but it still looks nice.

Just saying hello

#627-2020-02.
The layout design for this card is from this week's freshly made sketches challenge.
The picture that I chose to use is a clear stamp. I stamped it on with a light blue ink from StudioG and then I used colored pencils to color it in.
For the sky, I used oil pastels. The ocean water is oil pastels as well.
I used a yellow copic marker for the sun.
The little anchors on the side is a little hand punch. I decided to use little anchors instead of bow with the baker's twine.
The sentiment is from Fiskars Essential Sayings clear stamp set.
I hope you like my card for this week's freshly made sketches challenge.

Missing you

#626-2020-02.
This one is a 5x7 inch card.
I used oil pastels to color the sky, which didn't quite turn out the way I wanted it to. But that's ok.
After stamping on the sailboat with a light blue ink from StudioG, I used a red and light pale pink copic marker to color it in.
For the ocean, I put some ink on a clear block that's used for clear stamps and then I used a small paint brush to brush on the blue for the water.
Then I stamped on the birds, added the ribbon, pearls, and small anchors and sentiment to complete my card.

#623-2020-02.

Whale stamp and cut,
Waves embellishments,
Pastel blue blank card,

You're my anchor

#622-2020-02.
This layout design is from this week's freshly made sketches challenge.
The supplies I used are :
White cardstock,
Anchor embossing folder,
Anchor stamp and cut,
Ribbon messages die,
Scalloped heart,
Heart gems.
I don't have any sentiment stamps for an anchor sentiment ,so I had to write it on the ribbon die myself. I struggled for over an hour trying to put some hemp cord around the scalloped heart and anchor to make it look like a rope around the heart and anchor, but I couldn't seem to get it to look the way I wanted it to, so I left it off and just went with a piece of hemp on the top of the anchor instead.

Just saying hello

#621-2020-02.
The layout design for this card is from this week's Poetic Artistry's Mojo Monday challenge.
I couldn't decide on which other patterned paper to use with the one I chose, so I just used one kind of printed paper for the whole card. This particular printed paper is from my watercolor pastel paper pad. I also used black cardstock for the border on my layers.
The beginning layer is 4" x 5 1/4". The second layer is 3 1/2" x 4 1/2".
The third layer is 2" x 5 1/4". And the fourth layer is 2 1/2" x 4".
The circle is a 2 1/2" circle.
The bee that is just above the sentiment is from Ms. Sparkle & Co. stamp and die set (pictured above). The other bee is from Fiskers Beary Fun rubber stamp set.
The sentiment is from Essential Sayings clear stamps. I adhered it to a lavender craft ribbon and added a few Pearls.
This completes my card.
Thank you for stopping by to visit my blog. Whether you simply just like my card and you want to let me know what you like about it, or you want to let me know that there's something missing that could make this card look better, all comments are welcome and appreciated.
Thanks again..
