All of my cards are numbered so I can keep track of how many cards I've made along with the month and year I made them.
The layout designs that I use on my cards are provided from the design team at Freshly Made Sketches and Mojo Monday card challenges. The color schemes on some of my cards are compliments of the Color Throwdown card challenge. I owe my thanks to them for the use of these challenges.

Let it Snow

#580-2018-12.
This is my card for this weeks freshly made sketches card challenge #368.
The patterned paper came from my Christmas combo matstack.
Then I used my snowflakes embossing folders on white paper. After that, I sponged them with marina mist ink to give them a little color.
The snowman globe is from some Christmas stickers that I recently purchased at the dollar store. I added the silver gems to a few of the snowflakes to bring them out a little more.
For my sentiment, I used a clear stamp with red ink on white paper. I used a stitched circle framelit die on top of a scalloped circle die cut out with olive green card stock.
I hope you enjoyed your visit to my blog. Please come again!

Happy Birthday

#578-2018-12.
I have an older sister who was born on New Year's day, so I made this card for her.
I used a damask embossing folder on white cardstock paper for my background image and then I sponged on some purple eggplant ink on the edges to give it a little bit of a border.
For my main image, I used a flourish die with Hunter green cardstock paper for the leaf design. The flowers are from the Stampin Up Fabulous Florets stamp set. First I sponged on some Spring Pansy chalk ink from versa magic to color them and then used a little Eggplant ink to highlight them. After adhering everything to a white blank card, I added the pearls to my flowers.
The sentiment is from a Ribbon Messages Stamp & Cut set. I used Hunter green ink for the stamp before using it's matching die cut. Then I used a little bit of eggplant chalk ink from versa magic around the edges to highlight it. I adhered it to my card using double sided dots. And this completes my card.
I hope you've enjoyed your visit and will visit again. Thanks for stopping by.

Christ is Born

#577-2018-12.
I received a new nativity die cut in the mail today and I was experimenting with it. This is what I came up with for it. This card is 3 1/2 by 5 1/2 inches.
For the background, I used my "border" embossing folder, which I sponged on some ink onto the outer edges before using a light blue water color paint on the border design.
I used a scalloped circle, which is embossed with white embossing powder to give it a little shine behind my nativity scene, which is cut out on navy blue cardstock paper. The sentiment is stamped on with black ink. I used 3 very tiny silver gems on the nativity.
I hope you've enjoyed your visit to Fort Chestnut Designs. Please feel free to follow my blog so you can see more of my cards as I make and post them. You can also visit me on my Facebook page. Thanks for stopping by.
