All of my cards are numbered so I can keep track of how many cards I've made along with the month and year I made them.
The layout designs that I use on my cards are provided from the design team at Freshly Made Sketches and Mojo Monday card challenges. The color schemes on some of my cards are compliments of the Color Throwdown card challenge. I owe my thanks to them for the use of these challenges.
Thank you for stopping by.

Congratulations

#575-2018-11.
The layout design for this card is for this weeks Freshly Made Sketches #366 card sketch challenge.
I used a damask embossing folder for the background image, which I highlighted with red ink to give it a border against the white blank card.
I used a green ink for the leaf from the fabulous florets stamp set. The flowers are from fabulous florets stamp set as well. First I used a pink watercolor paint to paint them and then I sponged on a little red ink to highlight them.
My sentiment is from the ribbon messages stamp & Cut clear stamp set. I highlighted the ribbon with red ink. Then I added a pearl to both flowers and to the sentiment ribbon.
The butterfly is from a sticker set I bought at the Dollar store.
I hope you've enjoyed your visit to my blog. Thanks for stopping by.

Best wishes

#574-2018-11
Here's another card showing this weeks FMS364 card challenge layout design. The sentiment is from my Ribbon Messages stamp and cut set. I also used my new Fabulous Florets stamp set that I found and purchased on eBay. The butterfly was cut out using a monarch butterfly hand punch.
For my fabulous florets flowers, I used black ink to stamp them onto white paper. Then I used watercolor paints to color them. Then I sponged on a little bit of white ink onto them to soften the blue down a little bit.
For my final step, I sponged on a little Always Artichoke ink around the outer edges of my card to give it an antique look. I did the same to my ribbon message banner. I hope you like my card and I thank you for visiting my blog.

Peace, Love, Joy

#573-2018-11..
At first, I had a different idea for how I was going to make this card. However, after having it layed out in front of myself, it didn't quite look as good as I had pictured it in my head. So, after doing some more thinking, I came up with this...
My first thought was that I was going to use some pink glitter paper that has an adhesive backing on it. But it looked too flashy for my taste. So, I still used my Christmas embossing folder and I ran it through my BigKick machine. Then I took the adhesive off of the glitter paper, which is what you see here on my card. I decided to give it a dark plum purple border.
I decided to use my Stampin Up Flourish thinlits die with a medium green paper. The main part of the flower is from my Poinsettia Nesting Dies. The lighter purple on my poinsettia was actually cut out on white paper and then I sponged on a little bit of purple to make it look kind of antique-ish. The top of my poinsettia is a flower thinlit die from the Flourish thinlits die set.
The sentiment (Peace Love Joy) is from my Essential Sayings clear stamp set. The banner that this is stamped on is a thinlit die from Hero Arts Kelly's Flags Stamp & Cut Set.
Thank you for visiting my blog to see my card for this weeks Freshly Made Sketches FMS364 challenge.

Warm Winter Wishes

#570-2018-11.
I just love using my new Flourish thinlet die, along with the flower die that came with it.
I was at the Dollar store today and I saw these really cute snowman globe stickers and I thought, "Hey, those would look really cute on a card!!" So, I bought it and I started working on this card right away after I got home.
I just love everything about how this card turned out!! The snowflake embossing folder, the dies, and the itty bitty gems make everything just pop and catch the attention it deserves!! It's definitely an eye catcher! Or at least I think it is..
Thanks for stopping by.

Just a note...

#569-2018-11.
It didn't quite turn out the way I had it pictured in my head.

Thinking of you

#568-2018-11.
I thought I would make another card for this weeks FMS362 challenge.
The little green leaves that I used with the flourish thinlet die is from my new multi leaves thinlet dies that I received in the mail.
I chose red for a border. Then I used a scalloped circle die on the woodgrain background to give the white circle die a background. I used black ink for the sentiment, which is from my So Sorry stamp & Cut clear stamp set.
I hope you like my card. Thanks for stopping by to visit my blog.

Hey there

# 567-2018-11.
I found this thinlet die set online, so I ordered it. I thought it would look good on some cards.
I used a woodgrain neutral on top of a burgundy border for my cardstock paper. I used Always Artichoke ink to outline the stitched oval for the sentiment.
I really love the way this card turned out and I love this new thinlet die. I'm looking forward to using it on other cards in the future that I'll be making. I hope you've enjoyed seeing my card. I enjoyed making it for this weeks FMS challenge.

Merry Christmas

# 565-2018-10.
The poinsettia patterned paper I used as my background is from the papercraft inspirations website. I enjoy visiting their website to get printable patterned paper that I use on some of my cards. I used a burgundy cardstock as a border, which is on a white blank card.
I printed and cut out the Christmas tree from google images, which is adhered to a bigz top note die cut that I cut in half so there was more of the patterned image showing. I sponged on some cherry cobbler ink on the edges to make it stand out.
I decided I would use a Christmas ribbon for a bow with a gold gem. I also used a couple of silver gems around the Christmas tree.
For the sentiment, I used black chalk ink to stamp the Merry Christmas onto a labels framelit. I added two green gems with the sentiment to give it an added touch.
I hope you have enjoyed my card for this weeks FMS challenge. Thank you for stopping by to visit my blog page. Any and all comments are appreciated!
