All of my cards are numbered so I can keep track of how many cards I've made along with the month and year I made them.
The layout designs that I use on my cards are provided from the design team at Freshly Made Sketches and Mojo Monday card challenges. The color schemes on some of my cards are compliments of the Color Throwdown card challenge. I owe my thanks to them for the use of these challenges.

Dear Friend

Dear Friend
# 432-215-04
Supplies used :
Cardstock : Pastel Blue, White, Green, Pink, Light Bright Designer paper pack
Tools : Dots Embossing Folder, Flowers and Leaves punch
Die Cut : Branch w/Leaves
Accessories : 3 green brads
Stamp : Dear friend wood mount stamp
Ink : Pink

This card was made for 2 different sketch challenges. The first challenge is for the layout design from http://www.freshlymadesketches.blogspot.com

The second challenge is from http://www.colorthrowdown.blogspot.com. This weeks new color throwdown challenge was to use pink, green, and aqua.
Since I don't have any cardstock that is the actual aqua, I substituted with a pastel blue, which is close enough to the aqua color that is required for the challenge.

The strip on the side of the card is from my Light Bright Designer paper pack. I have attached it to a pink marble cardstock to give it a bordered look. This is attached to a white dot embossed cardstock, which is attached to a pastel blue blank card.

For the leaves behind the flowers, I used my Branch w/Leaves die cut, which is cut out on pastel blue cardstock.

The flowers are cut out from my Flowers and Leaves hand punch. I used pastel pink and Always Artichoke paper. Then I used green brads in the centers.

The sentiment is a wood mount stamp that is stamped on with pink ink from Studio G.

My Honey

My Honey
# 428-2015-04
Supplies used :
Cardstock : Black, White, Snap Color Vibe from Simple Stories paper pack
Ink : Black
Stamp Set : Beary Fun rubber stamp set
Accessories : Honeycomb embossing folder, Black 1/4" ribbon, yellow brad

You can also find this card posted in this weeks Freshly Made Sketches card challenge at http://www.freshlymadesketches.blogspot.com as well as this weeks Color Throwdown card challenge, which is at http://www.colorthrowdown.blogspot.com

As I was checking out this weeks layout design and the cards the design team had made, I kept going back to the card that Narelle had made. She always makes such wonderful cards. So I decided to make my card a little bit like hers.

I chose black and white cardstock with paper from my Snap Color Vibe paper pack from Simple Stories.

The bear and the sentiment are both from my Beary Fun rubber stamp set. I used black ink to stamp them onto white cardstock and then I cut out the bear and used a double-sided dimensional sticker to attach it to the card. I also used colored pencils to give the bear some color.

Then I used a black 1/4" ribbon and a yellow brad instead of a button and Baker's Twine like what Narelle used on her card.

I hope you have enjoyed your visit and you will return soon. Please feel free to follow my blog and check out more of my cards as I post them. Thanks for stopping by.

With Love

With Love
# 427-2015-04
Supplies used :
Cardstock : White, Brocade Blue, Ornate Flowers
Sentiment : Brush Stroke Greetings Sentiments rubber stamp set
Other Stamp Set : Fabulous Florets
Accessories : Pearl beads, Blue Button, Baker's Twine, Paper piercing tool

I found the Ornate Flowers cardstock on google images. After printing it up, I cut it down to size and then used a Jade green colored pencil to color in the leaves and then I sponged on the Brocade Blue ink to give the flowers a little color.

I used a paper piercing tool to put the little holes around the edge of the cardstocks. I also sponged Brocade Blue onto the Fabulous Florets flowers before cutting them out and using double-sided adhesives to attach them to the card.

Then I added the pearls, the button, and the Baker's Twine to make my card complete, along with using Brocade Blue ink for the sentiment.

Thanks so much for stopping by to visit my blog. I hope you have enjoyed your visit and will come again.....

# 424-2015-04
Supplies used :
Cardstock : White, Really Rust
Ink : Close to Cocoa, Really Rust, Always Artichoke, Old Olive, Summer Sun, Rose Red
Sentiment : Grateful Reconnaissant rubber stamp set
Other : Forest Background embossing folder, Pine tree wood stamp

I used Really Rust as the main cardstock. For the image, I embossed it using my Forest Background embossing folder.
After running the embossing folder through my Bigkick, I used artist paint brushes and sponges to add the Close to Cocoa to the tree trunk and branches. Then I used Old Olive on the leaves.

The pine trees are a wood stamp. I used Always Artichoke to stamp them on the image.

For the background colors behind the trees, I first sponged on Summer Sun, then Really Rust, and finally Rose Red. I was trying to get sort of a sunset look.

The sentiment was stamped on using Always Artichoke.

Even though Easter is already over and it's another new day, I still thought I would make another Easter card. I found this pretty Easter Lily while looking for Easter clip art on google images. I saw this lily and thought it would look good on a card. This weeks card challenge was the perfect layout design I needed for it.

I hope you all had a Blessed Easter this year! Thanks for stopping by to visit my blog. I hope you will visit again....
