Hand-made Greeting Cards for any occasion. Handmade by Wanda Mosqueda
All of my cards are numbered so I can keep track of how many cards I've made along with the month and year I made them.
The layout designs that I use on my cards are provided from the design team at Freshly Made Sketches and Mojo Monday card challenges. The color schemes on some of my cards are compliments of the Color Throwdown card challenge. I owe my thanks to them for the use of these challenges.
Thank you for stopping by.

For the main base of my card, I used a white card blank and behind the patterned paper, I used Elegant Eggplant paper. Thank you for stopping by to visit.

Happy Mother's Day
Happy Mother's Day
# 491-2016-02
It's another week for the MojoMonday challenge and this card makes the 491st card I have made since I first started making cards about 6 yrs ago.
Here is a link to the MojoMonday challenge : http://www.mojomonday.blogspot.com.
And here is a little bit about my card....
I chose a Pink blank card for the main part of my card. On the front, I chose a green color. I'm not sure of what shade of green it is, but I thought it was the perfect shade of green to go with the pink.
Next, I used my Photo Frame embossing folder to give my background a cool looking border.
Then I chose some white lace ribbon to go around the main theme with pink brads on the corners. I chose a Mother's Day theme this week. The patterned paper I used is from the Pretty In Pastels and Mum's The Word paper collections that I downloaded and printed up from the Papercraft Inspirations website.
My sentiment is from Mum's The Word. The sentiment is attached to a pink circle and a scalloped circle. I used a circle framelit die cut with pink paper and then I chose the same shade of green with a scalloped circle die cut. All of this put together gives my card kind of a vintage look.
Thank you for stopping by. Comments are welcome and appreciated.

Here is my card for this weeks http://www.freshlymadesketches.blogspot.com card challenge.
Mother's Day is still 3 months away, however, I just couldn't resist using this gorgeous patterned paper that was a free download from Papercraft Inspirations website.
The names of the 2 patterned papers I used are called "Mum's the Word", which is the flowered paper at the top of my card. The other one is called "Pretty In Pastels", which is the patterned paper at the bottom of my card. Both patterned papers are attached to a Perfect Plum cardstock, giving my card a bordered look.
The sentiment heart was from the "Mum's the Word", along with the little purple strip that lays on top of the bottom of the heart. Using the white lace ribbon was my own idea. I thought it would look nicer than using another patterned paper behind the heart.
Thank you, Narelle, for giving us such an easy layout design for this weeks challenge! It worked perfect for the way I wanted to use these patterned papers.
Thanks for stopping by and for leaving your wonderful comments.. Please come back soon!

Sketch Challenges :
The design layout is from this weeks Freshly Made Sketches card sketch challenge and the colors chosen for this card is from this weeks Color Throw Down card challenge.
The flowered patterned paper that I used for the background image is from the Studio G patterned paper pack, while the Brown/White striped and the Pink w/white dots that I used for the banners are from the Snap Color Vibe patterned paper pack from Simple Stories.
Then I used a white square bordered with green to put the sentiment and flowers on. I decided to add the Baker's Twine to give my card an added look.
