All of my cards are numbered so I can keep track of how many cards I've made along with the month and year I made them.
The layout designs that I use on my cards are provided from the design team at Freshly Made Sketches and Mojo Monday card challenges. The color schemes on some of my cards are compliments of the Color Throwdown card challenge. I owe my thanks to them for the use of these challenges.

Thankful for you everyday

#633-2020-02.
I made this sweet but simple card for this week's freshly made sketches challenge.
Supplies used are :
White cardstock,
StudioG inks,
Pink gems,
Handwritten sentiments clear stamps,
Fabulous Florets rubber cling stamps.
I stamped the leaf directly onto the card base and then stamped and cut out the flower, which is adhered onto the leaf with a double-sided adhesive circle.
The sentiment is from Hampton Arts handwritten sentiments clear stamps.
Then I added a few gems to complete my card.
Thanks for stopping by to visit my blog.

Best Wishes

#603-2019-03.
I kinda goofed up a little bit on this card on accident. At first, I was going to use certainly celery on the leaf stamp from the Fabulous Florets stamp set, but then decided it didn't look very good just being stamped onto the card front, so then I decided to cut out 2 of the Flower heart die cut framelits instead.
For the background, I used the dots embossing folder and the damask embossing folder. The flowers are from the Fabulous Florets stamp set. I used Taken with Teal ink to highlight the edges of the card front and the scalloped circle for the sentiment.

Thank you

#592-2019-01.
I was looking on YouTube last week for techniques with making cards and I came across a video about a dryer sheet technique. After watching the video and a couple other videos on this technique, I decided I just had to try it!! It doesn't quite look as good as I'd hoped, but here it is anyway...
First, I used an aqua blue ink from StudioG inks to stamp the flower from the Fabulous Florets stamp set onto the white card panel. Then I used an adhesive spray and I sprayed it on the card panel. Then I took a used dryer sheet and put it onto the adhesive sprayed card panel. I folded the dryer sheet over the backside and adhered it to the back. Then I sprinkled on some very fine silver glitter and shook off the excess.
I used the other flowers from the Fabulous Florets stamp set along with the leaf stem for the card theme. I used Close to Cocoa ink for the leaf stem.
For the flowers, I used copic markers to color them.
The sentiment is from Hero Arts ribbon messages stamp and cut set. I highlighted it with a light blue versa magic chalk ink.
I realize that the stampin up dotted scallop border punch is retired, but I used it anyway, with hopes that maybe stampin up will eventually un-retire it! I think this border punch looks good on certain cards!

Get Well Soon

#582-2019-01.
Here is another card for this week's FMS card challenge.
Cardstocks used are white, lilac, light olive green.
Framelits die cuts used are scalloped border, ribbon messages stamp & cut, scalloped circle, stitched circle, flower heart, and monarch butterfly.
Stamp sets used are fabulous florets and ribbon messages stamp & cut.
For the fabulous floret, I used a copic marker to color it in after stamping it and cutting it out. I did the same thing on the purple scalloped border.
After adhering everything to my blank card, I added a few off white pearls. The sentiment is stamped with black ink. I sponged on a little of spring pansy ink by versa magic around the edges of my ribbon message.
This completes my card. Thank you for visiting my blog...

Happy Birthday

#578-2018-12.
I have an older sister who was born on New Year's day, so I made this card for her.
I used a damask embossing folder on white cardstock paper for my background image and then I sponged on some purple eggplant ink on the edges to give it a little bit of a border.
For my main image, I used a flourish die with Hunter green cardstock paper for the leaf design. The flowers are from the Stampin Up Fabulous Florets stamp set. First I sponged on some Spring Pansy chalk ink from versa magic to color them and then used a little Eggplant ink to highlight them. After adhering everything to a white blank card, I added the pearls to my flowers.
The sentiment is from a Ribbon Messages Stamp & Cut set. I used Hunter green ink for the stamp before using it's matching die cut. Then I used a little bit of eggplant chalk ink from versa magic around the edges to highlight it. I adhered it to my card using double sided dots. And this completes my card.
I hope you've enjoyed your visit and will visit again. Thanks for stopping by.

Congratulations

#575-2018-11.
The layout design for this card is for this weeks Freshly Made Sketches #366 card sketch challenge.
I used a damask embossing folder for the background image, which I highlighted with red ink to give it a border against the white blank card.
I used a green ink for the leaf from the fabulous florets stamp set. The flowers are from fabulous florets stamp set as well. First I used a pink watercolor paint to paint them and then I sponged on a little red ink to highlight them.
My sentiment is from the ribbon messages stamp & Cut clear stamp set. I highlighted the ribbon with red ink. Then I added a pearl to both flowers and to the sentiment ribbon.
The butterfly is from a sticker set I bought at the Dollar store.
I hope you've enjoyed your visit to my blog. Thanks for stopping by.

Best wishes

#574-2018-11
Here's another card showing this weeks FMS364 card challenge layout design. The sentiment is from my Ribbon Messages stamp and cut set. I also used my new Fabulous Florets stamp set that I found and purchased on eBay. The butterfly was cut out using a monarch butterfly hand punch.
For my fabulous florets flowers, I used black ink to stamp them onto white paper. Then I used watercolor paints to color them. Then I sponged on a little bit of white ink onto them to soften the blue down a little bit.
For my final step, I sponged on a little Always Artichoke ink around the outer edges of my card to give it an antique look. I did the same to my ribbon message banner. I hope you like my card and I thank you for visiting my blog.
