All of my cards are numbered so I can keep track of how many cards I've made along with the month and year I made them.
The layout designs that I use on my cards are provided from the design team at Freshly Made Sketches and Mojo Monday card challenges. The color schemes on some of my cards are compliments of the Color Throwdown card challenge. I owe my thanks to them for the use of these challenges.

Thank you

Our local Joann's craft store still has a bunch of stuff on clearance, so I bought a pack of embellishments for $2.97, which is where this flower embellishment came from.
The patterned paper that I used is from Dots and Stripes paper pad.
The sentiment is from Flowers stamp and cut by Hero Arts.
The butterfly is a hand punch. I added the pearls and sequins to give this card a little bit of integrity and texture.
This is card #2 for this week's freshly made sketches challenge. I hope you like it.
Thanks so much for checking out my blog. I hope you enjoyed your visit.

Lucky Clover

#638-2020-03.
I thought that I would try a little something different and go outside of my comfort zone. I usually don't use my die cuts this way. I usually just use them for my sentiments.
As you can see in the second picture, I used the clover die from this set of holiday dies. The other die I used is from Ribbon Messages by Hero Arts stamp and cut.
I cut a piece of St. Patrick's Day paper and adhered it to the back of my card front after using the ribbon die. Then I used a double sided sticky circle to adhere the clover and added some sequins and a green gem.
The sentiment is a wood mounted St. Patrick's Day stamp.
The third picture is the same card, however, I replaced the green gem on the clover with a yellow-gold one. I think it looks better than the green one and it brings out the clover better.
I am posting this card on this week's freshly made sketches challenge.
It is also posted on my Fort Chestnut Designs page on Facebook.

With Sympathy

With Sympathy
# 507-2016-03
Supplies used are :
I used a white blank card with a red cardstock from my Shimmer Matstack. The main background I used my cherry blossom embossing folder on white cardstock.
The small red and white strip is paper from my Snap Color Vibe paper pack from Simple Stories.
I used red paper with my scalloped squares framelits with a white background behind the red roses and the sentiment is from my All Year Greetings clear stamp set. I used Garden Green Stampin' Up Ink.
Then I added some sequins on the cherry blossom flowers. I used my photo editing software to add the green border to my card after I scanned it and saved it to my computer.

This card is the 507th card I have made since 2011 when I first started making cards. You can also find this card posted in this weeks http://www.freshlymadesketches.blogspot.com card challenge.

I hope you have enjoyed my card as well as your visit to my blog. Thanks for stopping by.

Be Mine

Be Mine
# 490-2016-02

This is another card that I made for this weeks http://www.freshlymadesketches.blogspot.com card sketch challenge.

A midnight metallic blue blank card, silver twine, sequins, a metallic silver heart that was cut out using a star framelit die cut, a pink scalloped heart that was cut out using a scalloped heart framelit die cut, and some red heart gems make this card complete. The sentiment is stamped on metallic silver paper with a pink border and with using Night of Navy Stampin' Up ink. I used single alphabet letter rubber stamps for the sentiment.

# 481-2016-01
Supplies used :
Cardstock : Pastel green, green marble, Dots & Stripes paper pack, white, hunter green
Framelits : stamp & cut butterflies, stamp & cut flowers, scalloped squares
Die cuts : branch w/ leaves die cut
Stamp sets : stamp & cut butterflies, stamp & cut flowers, handwritten sentiments
Inks : Perfect Plum, Lavender Lace, Elegant Eggplant
Other : sequins

I decided to make another card for this weeks http://www.mojomonday.blogspot.com card challenge.

However, I decided to make a square card instead of the normal 5 1/2" x 4 1/4" card.

I used a scalloped square framelit with pastel green cardstock for the blank card. Then I used green marble cardstock for the first layer or background. Then I cut a strip of a striped paper from my Dots & Stripes paper pack and used it behind my flowers.

I used my branch w/ leaves die cut with hunter green paper to go behind my flowers, which are stamped onto white paper with Lavender Lace ink and cut out with the matching framelit.

I used Elegant eggplant for the 2 butterflies, which are also cut out using the matching framelit.
The sentiment is stamped on using Perfect Plum ink. Then I added the sequins to give my card an added look.
I hope you will enjoy this card as much as I enjoyed making it. Thank you for stopping by.

Supplies used :
Cardstock : Pastel Green, Hunter Green, Green Marble, Dots & Stripes paper pad
Ink : Elegant Eggplant, Perfect Plum
Stamps : Handwritten Sentiments clear stamp set, Stamp & Cut Flowers
Framelits : Stamp & Cut Flowers, Branch w/ Leaves Die Cut, Scalloped Circle framelit, Circle framelit.

This card is also posted in this weeks http://www.freshlymadesketches.blogspot.com card sketch challenge.

I decided to try using a 5 1/2" x 4 1/4" scalloped circle framelit to make a circle card for this weeks challenge. I used a pastel green for this.

Then I used a green marble paper and I cut out a large circle to use as my background.

The striped strip on the side is paper from my Dots & Stripes paper pad.

I used my branch w/ leaves die cut along with my Stamp & Cut flowers set, which is a clear stamp set that comes with the matching framelits. For my flowers, I used Perfect Plum ink and for the sentiment, I used Elegant Eggplant ink, which are both Stampin' Up inks. The sentiment is from my Handwritten Sentiments clear stamp set. I added the sequins to give my card an added look.

And this completes my card for this weeks card challenge. Thank you for stopping by. Your comments are appreciated.
