All of my cards are numbered so I can keep track of how many cards I've made along with the month and year I made them.
The layout designs that I use on my cards are provided from the design team at Freshly Made Sketches and Mojo Monday card challenges. The color schemes on some of my cards are compliments of the Color Throwdown card challenge. I owe my thanks to them for the use of these challenges.

My Sweetheart

#589-2019-01.
This is another card for this weeks freshly made sketches card challenge.
I decided on a Valentine theme for this one. And since the embellishment is black, red, and pink, I chose to use those three colors with my cardstock papers.
The two hearts in the corners are stamped on with black ink. I also used the same three colors for the dotted scallop border punch for behind the embellishment.
I added the pearls for an added look.

Sending Love

#581-2019-01.
Well, we are starting a new year! I had a good Christmas spending time with loved ones and brought the new year in with my wonderful husband and niece. In fact, my husband and I just celebrated our 8th wedding anniversary on January 2nd.
This is my card for this weeks FMS369 card challenge.
I used red, black, and white cardstocks. I sponged on some pink grapefruit chalk ink by versa magic around the edges of the white paper to kind of antique it a little.
For the big heart, I used a clear stamp from the Inkadinkado's Hearts clear stamp set. I stamped it on the paper with an embossing stamp pad and then used embossing powder and my heat tool. Then I added a hearts balloon embellishment.
I also used a pink, black, and red bakers twine with a red heart brad.
The sentiment is from hero arts "Yes" stamp and cut set, which is stamped on with black ink.
And to put the finishing touches, I added a few red heart gems.
I hope you have enjoyed your visit to my blog. Please stop by again. I appreciate you stopping by..

Then I added a pink ribbon for the bow and a red heart gem.

I haven't posted my cards in FMS for quite a while because I always think my cards are never good enough, which I need to quit thinking. I decided to give it another try, so I hope you've enjoyed seeing it. Thanks for stopping by Fort Chestnut Designs.

Key to my heart

You are the Key to my Heart
# 534-2016-08
I went to JoAnn's craft store the other day just to see what new stuff they had as far as craft supplies are concerned, and I found this cut and emboss die set that is called Lost & Found. So, I thought the key die cut would look good on a card. So I used my BigKick to cut out 2 keys and the small heart, and then used my Stamp & Cut Yes die cut for the bigger heart and added a glittered heart on top of it to make it stand out a little more before putting it in between the 2 keys. Then I used Baker's Twine with the small heart. I also used my scalloped squares die cut and then sponged on some red ink on the edges to make it stand out a little more. And after using double-sided dimensional stickers to adhere the keys and the hearts onto my card, I used my alphabet stamp set to stamp on the sentiment using black ink.
I hope you have enjoyed my card for this weeks http://www.freshlymadesketches.blogspot.com card sketch challenge.

Love you Valentine...

Love you Valentine
# 489-2016-02
This is my card for this weeks http://www.freshlymadesketches.blogspot.com card sketch challenge.

I used an off-white blank card with an off-white cardstock on the front for the background. I used my 1 inch corner punch for the corners and then I used a sponge with red ink to outline the edge to give my card kind of a bordered look.

The pink-inked image behind the heart is a wood-mount stamp, along with the 2 cupid's arrows. The "love you" heart is a clear stamp from my Stamp & Cut Yes set from Hero Arts. I used red ink to stamp it onto white paper and then used the matching die cut framelit to cut it out using my Sissix BigKick machine. I used black ink to stamp the arrows onto white paper and then I cut them out by hand to put them behind my "love you" heart.

The "Valentine" sentiment is from my Holiday Sentiments rubber stamp set, which is stamped on using pink ink and then bordered with red ink.

I added 3 pink scalloped hearts with red gem hearts for an added look. Along with using 3 sequins.

I hope you have enjoyed my card for this weeks challenge. Thank you for stopping by.

LOVE
# 483-2016-01
Supplies used :
Cardstock : pastel blue, white, patterned paper from papercraft inspirations, pink
Sentiment : Valentine wood mount stamp
Ink : faded jeans from distress inks
Other : Baker's twine, Cool Light Blue Pearl adhesive gems, light blue brads
Tools : Paper piercing tool, scalloped oval framelit, scalloped heart framelit, Stamp and cut flowers clear stamp and framelit.

This card is also posted in this weeks http://www.freshlymadesketches.blogspot.com card challenge.

I didn't really say anything in my last card post, so I will say something about this post.

I was looking on Papercraft Inspirations website where they have free downloads for patterned papers and sentiments. I saw this pretty patterned paper, so I printed it up and decided to use it on another card for this weeks card challenge.

I used my patterned paper with a pastel blue blank card. On the front, I used pastel blue with a scalloped oval framelit and then white paper with a labels framelit. If you take a close look, you will see that I used a paper piercing tool on the scalloped oval. I also used 3 light blue brads around the sentiment, which I used faded jeans distress ink and then I colored the word in using a pink colored pencil.

I decided to use a pink scalloped heart behind a stamp and cut flower with a cool light blue pearl adhesive gem along with baker's twine to give my card an added look. I also used the paper piercing tool on the scalloped heart to highlight it as well.

Thank you for stopping by. Any comments and/or suggestions on how I can improve my cards is greatly appreciated...

Happy Valentine's Day

Happy Valentine's Day
# 479-2016-01
Supplies used :
Cardstock : Pastel Blue, White, Pastel Pink
Framelits : Scalloped Circles, Scalloped Hearts
Ink : Red, Blue
Accessories : Gems, Sequins, Glittered Hearts

This card is also posted in this weeks Freshly Made Sketches card challenge at http://www.freshlymadesketches.blogspot.com.

For this weeks challenge, I decided to make my card a little different. Instead of making the normal sized card, I went with a circle card.

First, I used a 5 1/2" x 4 1/4" Scalloped circle framelit to cut out the blank card using pastel blue cardstock. Then I used a regular Circle framelit using white cardstock.

Then I cut out 2 pastel pink scalloped hearts and 1 pastel blue scalloped heart. I put a glittered heart on all 3 hearts and put them in place. I used an already made label for the sentiment, which I used a Valentine wood stamp with red ink. I used a sponge to add the blue ink around the border of the label. Then I added gems and sequins for an added touch. And this completes my card.

I know my cards that I make aren't as beautiful as everyone elses are, but I do enjoy making my cards and I try to be a little creative at times. I hope you like it...

Supplies used :
Cardstock : Pink Marble, Chocolate Brown, Pastel Patterned Paper
Ink : Red, Chocolate Chip
Tools : Heart Framelit, Scalloped Square Framelit, Sissix Big Kick, Paper Piercing Tool
Stamps : Stamp and Cut Yes (clear stamp with matching die cut framelit)
Other : Glitter Hearts, Red Heart Brad, Paper Doily, Baker's Twine

This is my card for this weeks Mojo Monday card challenge, which is located at http://www.mojomonday.blogspot.com

I chose a Valentine's Day theme for my card. I started with a Pink Marbled blank cardstock, which is cut to a 5 1/2" x 4 1/4". Then I cut a chocolate brown and another pink marble cardstock down to the desired size for the background.

The patterned paper is cut down to 2" x 4" and is placed on the left side. Then I cut a paper doily in half and adhered it to the right side.

Then I cut out a scalloped square using chocolate brown paper and then I cut out a light marble pink for the front. I used a heart stamp before using the matching framelit.

I used chocolate chip ink to highlight the doily. Then I used some Baker's Twine on the side with a red heart brad, along with using the 2 glittered hearts.

This completes my card for this weeks Mojo Monday sketch challenge. Thank you for stopping by.
