All of my cards are numbered so I can keep track of how many cards I've made along with the month and year I made them.
The layout designs that I use on my cards are provided from the design team at Freshly Made Sketches and Mojo Monday card challenges. The color schemes on some of my cards are compliments of the Color Throwdown card challenge. I owe my thanks to them for the use of these challenges.

Love, Hope, Faith

Love, Hope, Faith
# 417-2015-03

Cardstock : Whisper White, Elegant Eggplant, Handsome Hunter, Light Bright Designer Paper pack
Die Cut : Branch w/Leaves
Stamp Sets : Flora and Good News clear stamp sets
Accessories : 3 purple gems, 1 yellow gem, Dots embossing folder, Paper piercing tool
Ink : Rich Razzleberry

You can also find this card posted in this weeks Freshly Made Sketches card challenge, which is located at http://www.freshlymadesketches.blogspot.com

This weeks sketch was a pretty simple sketch to make. I hope you enjoy my card as much as I enjoyed making it for this weeks challenge.

For the main cardstock, I chose a blank 5 1/2" x 4 1/4" Whisper White pre-folded card with Elegant Eggplant and a dots embossed white for the background.
I also chose a printed paper from my Light Bright Designer paper pack, which I have attached to a Handsome Hunter cardstock to give it a little bit of a bordering look.
Then I chose another white on top of that, which I used a paper piercing tool on.

All 3 sentiments, the small cross, and the flowers are stamped with Rich Razzleberry ink. I colored in the "Flora" flowers with a yellow crayola marker before cutting them out by hand and using double-sided dimensional adhesives to attach them to the card. I chose my Branch w/Leaves die cut as the background behind my flowers. After attaching everything that needed to be, I glued on 3 purple and 1 yellow gem.

My theme for my card this week is celebrating Easter as the resurrection of Christ. Most people think of Easter as the Easter bunny, baby chicks, eggs, and candy. To me, it is fun to think of all those things, however, isn't the true meaning of Easter about the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ? Without Him, we wouldn't be here to celebrate his resurrection. As long as we all keep our Faith in Him, He gives us Love and Hope for a better tomorrow.

Die Cuts : Branch w/Leaves

I made this card for this weeks MojoMonday card sketch challenge. You can view this card at http://www.mojomonday.blogspot.com

The printed paper you see is from the Light Bright Designer 6"x6" paper pack. The flowers are from my new Flora clear stamp set. I used Rich Razzleberry ink to stamp them onto white paper, then I used a yellow crayola marker to color them in before cutting them out by hand and using double-sided dimensional adhesives to attach them to the front of the Branch w/Leaves die cut.
The sentiments are stamped on with Rich Razzleberry ink as well. I added the brads, gems, and white lace ribbon to give this card an added look.

Thank you for visiting my blog. Please come back soon to see more of my cards as I get them posted to my blog.

Forgive me for not really explaining anything about my card this week. I think everything about it is pretty much self explanatory. There isn't really anything I can say about it that doesn't already say it for itself.

I guess the only thing I can say is that I am striving every day to improve how my cards are made so that mine will eventually look just as good as those that are posted in the challenge.
Thank you for stopping by and visiting my blog. I hope you will visit it again.

Rejoice

Rejoice in the Lord
# 413-2015-03
Supplies used :
Cardstock : Bordering Blue, White, Snap Color Vibe patterned paper pack from Simple Stories
Stamp Sets : Fabulous Florets, Good News clear stamp set
Ink : Basic Grey (Cross & Rejoice), Brocade Blue (in the Lord)
Other : Paper piercing tool, Yellow crayola marker, Pink crayola marker, 1 pink gem, 2 yellow gems, 3 silver gems, Circles #2 Die Cut.

The layout design for this card is from this weeks Freshly Made Sketches challenge. It is located at http://www.freshlymadesketches.blogspot.com

Although pretty much everyone who makes hand-made greeting cards usually make cards that have Easter bunnies, baby chicks, eggs, and candy for their Easter cards, I wanted to make a religious card because after all, Easter Sunday is actually about the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ.

I don't have any blendabilities markers that I can use, so instead I used a yellow and a pink crayola marker to color in my fabulous florets flowers after I cut them out. After coloring them in, I used double-sided dimensional stickers to attach them to my card.

The zig-zag and the yellow/white striped papers are from my Snap color vibe patterned paper pack from Simple Stories. I chose these 2 patterned papers to go with Bordering Blue cardstock.
