All of my cards are numbered so I can keep track of how many cards I've made along with the month and year I made them.
The layout designs that I use on my cards are provided from the design team at Freshly Made Sketches and Mojo Monday card challenges. The color schemes on some of my cards are compliments of the Color Throwdown card challenge. I owe my thanks to them for the use of these challenges.
Thank you for stopping by.

Season's Greetings

Season's Greetings
# 472-2015-12
Supplies used :
Cardstock : Red, White, Christmas Songbirds patterned paper from Papercraft Inspirations
Other : Poinsettia framelit die cut, red ribbon, yellow brad

This card was made for the Freshly Made Sketches card challenge. You can find this challenge at http://www.freshlymadesketches.blogspot.com.

I was at Joann's craft store yesterday and I saw a magazine that had this poinsettia framelit die cut with it as a free gift for buying the magazine. So I bought the magazine just to get the die cut. This is what I used as the flower for my card.

The patterned paper is also from the Papercraft Inspirations website where you can print free papers and other things to make your favorite cards with.

The red ribbon and the yellow brad in the center of my poinsettia was my own idea to give my card an added touch.

I hope you have enjoyed my card as much as I enjoyed making it. May you all have a wonderful and joyous Christmas season.

As always, thanks for stopping by.

Merry Christmas

Peace and Love

Peace and Love
# 461-2015-11
Supplies used :
Cardstock : White, Metallic Gold, Metallic Silver
Tools : Dots Embossing Folder, Paper piercing tool, Snowflakes #3 Die Cut
Stamps : Twas the Night Before clear stamp set, Handwritten Sentiments
Ink : Silver
Other : Gems

I really like this weeks Freshly Made Sketches card challenge. It gave me the opportunity to use my snowflakes die cut. This card challenge is located at http://www.freshlymadesketches.blogspot.com.

For those of you who do not know, the reason why I number my cards is because that way I know how many cards I have made since I first started making cards back in 2011. It is also easier for future reference should anyone inquire about a specific card and would like to know more about it.

With that being said, let me tell you about this card...

I chose white, metallic gold and metallic silver cardstocks for the colors. For the bottom half of my card, I used an embossing folder to accent it and then I used a paper piercing tool to accent the border of the top half.

I used metallic silver for the background of my snowflake, which was cut out using my snowflakes #3 die cut. Then I used a metallic gold and white snowflake in the middle to accent the background snowflake.

The first part of my sentiment is from my Handwritten Sentiments clear stamp set and the rest of the sentiment is from my "Twas the night before" clear stamp set. Both are stamped onto my card with silver/grey ink. And to highlight my card, I used a few gems.

This completes my card for this weeks FMS challenge. I hope you have enjoyed your visit and will visit again. As always, your comments are appreciated. May God bless u and may you have a wonderful Thanksgiving and a very Merry Christmas!
